Adventures in Welding
We started at the studio of a local sculptor, welder and treasured family friend, Ned Cain.

Next we signed up for a 6 week course through the local technical college. NWTC Artisan Center
MIG Welding
The school cut the butterfly shape on a plasma table, all I did was attach it to an old railway spike.

Shapes were cut out on the plasma table. Steel nails are at the center of the flower.

All the parts cut out with the shear & a hand-held plasma cutter. (Hilariously not straight results.)
